Brazil 2013 - Road To Rio (world cup 2014)

I hope you enjoy !

Neymar Skills & Goals 2013 - 14

Every so often a young Brazilian forward of such dazzling potential emerges that comparisons are immediately made with the greatest of all, Pele. As another graduate of the Santos academy, and a player who has made a stunning impact in his teens, it is inevitable that Neymar has become one of them. However, he says his style is closer to that of Garrincha, and that Romario is his hero in the Seleção shirt. The early indications are that this hugely talented forward might, might, just have the potential to join the ranks of Brazil greats. Though still in his formative years, Neymar has already been the subject of multi-million pound bids from giant European clubs, dazzled in Brazilian domestic football and at youth level for his country, and now he is beginning to do the same for the senior side. Overlooked for the 2010 World Cup by Dunga, despite pleas from Pele himself, Neymar is at the forefront of the new Seleção under Mano Menezes and, having already scored on his debut against United States in August 2010, caught Europe's attention when scoring twice against Scotland at Emirates Stadium when winning only his third cap in March 2011. Neymar had already become a player of some repute in his home country though. A Santos player since 2003, he made his debut aged 17 and quickly shot to fame when winning the Campeonato Paulista in 2010 and being named the best player in the competition. Maintaining an impressive strike-rate, he shone alongside his stylistic soul-mate Robinho upon his loan return to the club from Manchester City, and was the subject of a £23 million offer from Chelsea in August 2010, which he rejected to continue his career in Brazil. Though he also signed a new contract at the time, with his buyout clause set at (€45 million) £37 million, Neymar's continued excellence in the Santos shirt, despite some high-profile disciplinary problems, and his impact with Brazil at junior and senior level have led to persistent suggestions that he will move to one of Europe's biggest clubs. He signed another new contract at Santos at the end of 2011, keeping him at the club until after the 2014 World Cup in Brazil but few people expect him to stay that long. Strengths: A genius with the ball at his feet, Neymar's pace, dribbling , expert finishing and impeccable technique make him a fearsome opponent. His impressive awareness and match intelligence also mean he can operate wide or through the middle. Weaknesses: His temperament is open to question following a number of disciplinary problems and he has been accused of being selfish, as well as indulging in some of football's dark arts. Career high: His two-goal showing against Scotland in March 2011 which took his international tally to three in three games and announced his talent to a wider audience. Career low: In September 2010, Neymar displayed his petulant side when first sparking a ruckus in a match against Ceara, and then arguing with coach Dorival Junior when overlooked to take a penalty against Guarani. Dorival suspended the player, and was sacked as a result. Style: Electric, inventive, irrepressible, a dangerous forward. Quotes: "It is good to be compared with the best player [Pele]. But my dad told me about Garrincha's style as he moved forward, went up, attacked and dribbled. Garrincha's style is more similar to Neymar's." Neymar, January 2011. Trivia: Over 14,000 Brazil fans signed a petition demanding that Neymar be called up by Dunga for the 2010 World Cup finals. On 30 July 2013, Barcelona drew 2--2 against Lechia Gdańsk in a preseason friendly; this was Neymar's unofficial debut with the team, and he came on as a substitute.[64] On 7 August 2013, Neymar scored his first goal in a Barcelona shirt during a 7--1 friendly win over the Thailand national team in Bangkok. Neymar made his competitive debut for Barcelona during the opening game of the 2013--14 La Liga season as a 63rd minute substitute in a 7--0 win against Levante UD. On 21 August, he scored his first competitive goal for the club in the first leg of the 2013 Supercopa de España against Atlético Madrid. On 18 September, he made his UEFA Champions League debut, assisting a Gerard Piqué goal as Barça beat AFC Ajax 4--0 in their opening match of the 2013--14 tournament.[68] On 24 September, Neymar scored his first goal in La Liga in Barça's 4--1 defeat of Real Sociedad at Camp Nou. On 26 October 2013, Neymar scored the opening goal in his first El Clásico appearance as Barça beat Real Madrid 2--1 at Camp Nou. Later in the match he assisted the team's winning goal scored by Alexis Sánchez.

Barcelona were worthy winners of the latest edition of el Clasico with a thumping 5-0 victory over Jose Mourinho's Real Madrid at Camp Nou.
Xavi opened the scoring on 10 minutes after a defensive mistake by the away side. Pedro added a second eight minutes later with a close-range finish. Barcelona continued to control the game and made it three on 55 minutes with an expert David Villa finish who added another three minutes later.

The cherry was placed in the cake in the 91st minute when substitute Jeffren bundled in a fifth. To add to their misery, Real Madrid were reduced to ten-men in the 93rd minute when Sergio Ramos received his marching orders.
Pep Guardiola's men return to the top of La Liga after inflicting the first defeat of the season on Real Madrid who will have to show plenty of mental strength to bounce back from this demoralising defeat.
The first chance fell to Barcelona on six minutes when Lionel Messi nearly produced a moment of magic worthy of gracing any game. The diminutive superstar nonchalantly curled a left-footed effort towards the top corner from the tightest of angles but could only watch on as the ball rebounded off the post and to safety.
The home side continued to press the visitors and got their just rewards on 10 minutes through a slice of luck. Andres Iniesta's wonderful through-ball was nearly intercepted by Marcelo. However the Brazilian left-back could only knock the ball into the path of Xavi who after some unconventional control, poked the ball past Iker Casillas from six yards out.
Real Madrid came close to levelling matters two minutes later. Mesut Oezil played in Angel di Maria on the edge of the Barcelona box and the Argentine unleashed a powerful effort that was acrobatically tipped over the bar by Victor Valdes.
On 14 minutes the away team came close again when Cristiano Ronaldo's clever ball found its way into the Barcelona box and Eric Abidal narrowly avoiding putting the ball past his own 'keeper under pressure from Karim Benzema.
However, the home side looked sharp and went two up after 18 minutes through some excellent work by David Villa. The Spanish striker received a precise pass from Xavi on the left before jinking past Sergio Ramos and firing a low cross into los Blancos' six-yard box which Casillas failed to deal with leaving Pedro with a simple task of knocking the ball in.
The Blaugrana were threatening to run riot in the most anticipated game of the season and came close to making it three on 28 minutes. Xavi pinged a wonderful defence-splitting pass towards Pedro yet the goalscorer was beaten to the ball just inside the box by an alert Casillas.
Jose Mourinho's men were in desperate need of a goal and nearly scored on 35 minutes. Ronaldo's trademark free-kick looped over the wall and flew narrowly wide from 25 yards with Valdes at full-stretch.
Four minutes later Real Madrid had a decent claim for a penalty when Valdes appeared to make contact with Ronaldo who was running away from the goal. A case of the Portuguese schemer's reputation preceding him.
The game threatened to flare-up just before half-time when Messi and Ricardo Carvalho came together in a midfield tussle. The defender appeared to make contact with the Argentine's face yet Messi did make a meal of the challenge as Itturralde produced a yellow card for the winger, the fifth of a fiery first-half.

A third appeared to be on the cards as the home side were agonisingly close to scoring on 51 minutes when Messi's clever through-ball found Xavi who attempted to round Casillas before seeing his tight-angled shot hit the wrong side of the side-netting.
Barcelona did make it three on 55 minutes when Messi played a fantastic pass between Pepe and Carvalho with the deadly Villa controlling the ball with one touch before slamming it low past the helpless Casillas.
Amazingly it was four on 58 minutes when Messi played the pass of the night to slice open los Blancos' defence with Villa outpacing his opposition before calmly poking the ball through Casillas' legs for his 10th Barcelona goal.
The away side were dead and buried as Guardiola's men continued to control proceedings with Carvalho extremely lucky to stay on the pitch on 71 minutes for a deliberate hand-ball which denied Barcelona a clear goalscoring opportunity. However, the experienced defender escaped with a yellow card.
It was not to be a hat-trick for Villa as he was replaced by Bojan who almost made an immediate impact on 75 minutes when he saw his powerful 20 yard drive punched to safety by Casillas.
The home side continued to dictate play as Real Madrid attempted damage limitation. However there was to be a fifth in the 91st minute when substitute Jeffren chipped the ball into the net from a Bojan cross six yards out.
To add to the humiliation, Ramos received his marching orders in the 93rd minute for a crunching challenge on Messi.

Amazing, fun game!5
This game has many differences to FIFA 10, but they are mostly small ones. The online mode is about 100 times better than FIFA 10 though since every game you play you earn points now for wins or 1 pt for tie. You are in a league and play 10 games per season, after 10 games u can get relegated or promoted to the next highest league, there are 10 leagues. If you win at the highest league you become champion and earn trophies. Plus all your wins go towards a country you represent, so there are rankings on how good the countries are at playing.

The actual game has better sound than 10 by a million times. It's extremely festive and loud and you really feel like your at a live match. The passing seems a lot more realistic and fluid and the players make brilliant runs now, the cpu seems to think off the ball so much better. Gameplay seems a bit faster so it tends to make the matches more exciting, sometimes it is a bit fast for realism. New penalty system I love, makes it a little harder to get one so there is more excitement. Graphics are about the same as 10 I would say. Players faces are much better though, they really look like the real guys now.
Best Fifa World Cup So Far5
I got this game yesterday and so far I'm very impressed.

This is by far the best world cup EA has created in their FIFA World Cup series. The atmosphere, graphics, and user interface are much improved over last world cup.

First, the positives:

The game play is pretty realistic. The defense is much harder to break down than in previous versions, which seems to keep the scoreline in check.

The online mode is awesome. You can actually pick a team and challenge other teams in world cup.

As far as the graphics go, I believe they're pretty strong. Stadiums, game action, and atmosphere, everything looks good. The crowds make you feel you are actually in the stadium.

Having 199 teams is a huge plus. You can even pick Afghanistan. LOL

Having two Button game play is a great addition for new comers in game.

Penalty kicks have improved and they are alot harder to score.

Btw the Goal looks bigger.

The negatives:

You still can`t play against friends in 2 vs 2 match up.

There are no clubs in it, but that doesn't bother me since I have Fifa 09 and Fifa 10.

Overall. it's a great game. If you want more features and clubs go buy Fifa 10, but if you want better graphics more International teams get this. This

game comes out every 4 years so I didn't mind paying for it and enjoy having my hometown team in there. So if you are hardcore fan of soccer or your

country didn`t make it to world cup buy this. You won't regret.

Take care and I'll see you online! :)
Awesome game!5
If you like soccer and if you like FIFA, go buy this game with your eyes closed (note that I have FIFA 10). The game is similar to FIFA 10, but he gameplay has many improvements, the ball fells more real, the keepers play better and the penalties are harder and need to be practiced.

But where this game really shines is in the online mode, you can play the FIFA World Cup online, with the group phase, quarter finals and everything, the game always sets you up with someone who is in the same part of the tournament as you, so if you are in the final, your online opponent will also be in the final, this sets up interesting matches and will give you exciting matches, because if you lose one game after the group phase you have to start again. Because of this, every game matters and will not be just an online head to head match, and winning the cup is very satisfactory.

Im hooked to this game!
